Goals or targets?

I have so many goals that I really should start focusing.  I hope that writing just for a few minutes a day helps me stay on task.  Ever so inching towards progress and making the better me.  Toughest part? None of them have an end.  I guess the goal is to just be.

Let's start listing them!

  • Woodworking
  • PC build and repair
  • Home Improvement (which has many subcategories)
  • Healthiness
  • Cooking
  • Daily Maintenance
  • Application and Game development on all of the platforms - Develop all the things!
  • Most importantly a rich and engaging life with and for my children
These are the topics that will be covered primarily.  So lets get started!

First!

So I have been removed from a professional career as an ITPro.  Last place of employment was at the University of Washington that ended on October 31, 2016.  I had made it into a habit of creating a changelog of the actions that I took on various systems.  I even logged the detailed steps.  This was for me primarily if things went wrong and I needed to undo all of the things.

There were proactive logs and there were reactive logs.  Example, I had plans to do a major update of systems a month out.  I would then document the steps, save links and resources, and do practice runs in a test environment.  This would be proactive.  Sometimes reactive happens.  But it is what it is.

After all of these months, why not do it to another system?  Instead of computers, my environment and surrounding systems.  Basically Life.  I mean what else do people do with blogs?  Talk about their own life and experiences.
